The Treasure Coast Section is pleased to welcome the APA Florida Annual Conference to Downtown West Palm Beach! We will be meeting September 11-14, 2018 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. The Convention Center is in an ideal located conveniently located across the street from CityPlace, a mixed-use complex, with world-class shopping, restaurants, entertainment and residential space in the heart of downtown. And best of all, more than 1,000 hotel rooms are only a few steps away.

The Treasure Coast is comprised of Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie and Okeechobee County. We enjoy pristine coastal areas in the east, as well as rural environmental and agricultural influences in the west. The region is home to portions of Lake Okeechobee, the northern extent of the Everglades, Jonathan Dickinson State Park, The Savannahs, and the St. Lucie and Loxahatchee Rivers.

This large regional planning area faces major storms similar to, and representative of, most of the State. From post-hurricane and housing challenges to mobility and mass transit obstacles, and economic and environmental justice trials, it's now time for clear sailing.

This year we call on you to help navigate the Treasure Map to Florida Future. We are looking for dynamic and interesting session proposals, especially in the topic areas listed below. We also welcome research projects at the university level from both professors and students that would be of interest to our membership
