40th Annual Governor’s Hurricane Conference

The Governor’s Hurricane Conference returns in May 2026 as the nation’s largest and most comprehensive event focused on hurricane preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation. Hosted at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, this annual conference brings together emergency management professionals, first responders, government officials, nonprofit organizations, and private-sector partners from across the country.
For more than four decades, the Governor’s Hurricane Conference has served as a premier platform for education, collaboration, and innovation in disaster management. The 2026 program will feature:
-
Extensive Training & Workshops – Hundreds of hours of educational sessions covering hurricane planning, disaster logistics, crisis communications, public safety coordination, recovery operations, mitigation strategies, and community resilience.
-
Nationally Recognized Speakers – Leaders from emergency management agencies, meteorological services, public safety departments, and policy organizations sharing best practices and real-world insights.
-
Comprehensive Exhibit Hall – An expansive showcase of cutting-edge products, technologies, and services designed to strengthen preparedness and response capabilities.
-
Networking Opportunities – Dedicated events and forums designed to foster collaboration, build partnerships, and share lessons learned across jurisdictions and disciplines.
The conference is designed for professionals at every level — from local emergency managers and law enforcement agencies to state and federal officials — who are committed to protecting lives, property, and critical infrastructure.
Join us in West Palm Beach in May 2026 to connect, learn, and strengthen our collective ability to prepare for and respond to hurricane threats.
